For many, Google Chrome is the only web browser worth using. If you're wanting to see what all the fuss is about, you'll be happy to know that downloading and installing it on your Mac is incredibly easy and fast to do. In this guide, we walk you through the steps so that you can finally ditch Safari or Mozilla or whatever for Chrome.
After downloading an old version of Google Chrome, disconnect your PC or Mac from the internet and run the standalone Chrome installer to install the browser. If the browser launches automatically, quit it before you go ahead.
Google has recently launched Chrome OS Flex, an operating system promoted as an OS that can extend the life of older PCs Macs that are no longer receiving new updates. Chrome OS Flex is free to download and can be installed on Intel Macs.

All old and new versions of Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) (Intel) Chrome editions are available for download from legacy sources. If you are unable to find Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) (Intel) versions of Chrome below, narrow down your search for the specific platform or app through below links. Apps are listed in chronological order from the release date with latest versions appears on top of the list.
A real device cloud from BrowserStack provides the optimal way to access older Chrome versions with the least possible time and effort. Instead of downloading older versions of Chrome, sign up for free, log in, and choose from Chrome versions 18 to 98.
Apple devices that can't update to the latest version of iOS will eventually get "left behind" by apps when they update their platforms to require newer software updates. You can still download older versions of apps, but the way to do so is a bit hidden.
From there, you can tap on the Purchased button. Under My Purchases, you'll find a list of all the apps that you've previously downloaded and installed on your iPhones and iPads.
If this is the case, the App Store will display a notification saying that you can't download the latest version of the app. However, it will offer an alternative version of the app that you will be able to download.
One issue with this method is that you're only going to be able to download apps that you've previously "purchased" in the past. However, there's a workaround that will let you get apps that you've never installed.
Hardware acceleration in Google chrome is a feature that allows it to access your device's graphics hardware. It will enable Chrome to work faster with graphical processes, thereby improving your overall user experience.

The easiest way to do this is to transfer your System Root certificates from another Mac to which you have access that runs a more modern version of macOS. (Why not just download them See note that the end of this answer.)
You might wonder why I didn't simply put a link to a more modern bundle of certificates somewhere on the web. After all, that would allow you to skip steps 1-3, and simply download rootcerts.pem. The answer is that you would have no way of knowing that I had not tampered with the root certificates and inserted one of my own, allowing me to impersonate any website by making a fake certificate signed with my own root certificate. Please therefore treat with extreme scepticism any advice to solve this problem by downloading root certificates from anywhere unless you have can independently check the provenance of those certificates.
For anyone without access to an up-to-date Apple OS install: you can download the root certificate at cause (that one exclusively) from the issuer's site and install it. Instructions are here but double-check where in Keychain Access your systemhas stored the expired R3 certificate (could be "System Roots" instead of "System").
MacPorts have a port (apple-pki-bundle) which installs .pem file containing a bunch of certificates downloaded from Apple, GeoTrust and DigiCert (port source here. It does not at the moment include the ISRG certificate but I have to assume it contains at least a number of the certificates you'd get with the recipe outlined above. Checksumming ensures that you get the intended certificates; AFAICT you'll need to add the bundle to your system's root certificates yourself.
This is happening to me too. When I save as .pem it downloads but then says removed when I go to open the file. It does not show as a certificate file like you have shown above. Any idea why my mac will not save as .pem
