Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!

In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and deliciousunsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection ofapricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.

Along with the spring runoff comes the beginning of fruit season in the valley. One of our trips every year includes visiting Two Sisters Apricot Farm where we get buckets of fruit picked fresh right off the apricot tree!

Thank you Kathryn, you're welcome!! The Apricot Jam Recipe would certainly work for you Kolache and would be delicious! If you don't want to go through the steps to make jam, this blog looks like it has a yummy filling and you could swap the apricots for prunes. -Kolache-Filling/

Going to make this tonight. Have three HUGE apricot trees that are LOADED. Problem is, I don't have the Sure-Jell, I have a container of Ball RealFruit Classic Pectin. Can I use this instead and if so, how much Thanks in Advance Awaiting Your Reply, Phyllis

Hey Megan - I'm so excited you're making this recipe - you're going to LOVE it! To answer your questions - yes, you can substitute slightly pureed apricots. It will make a difference in the texture but certainly not the flavor. Go for it I say! As far as doubling goes, I wouldn't do that. I'd make two separate batches. Though it may work, there's a much better chance it may not set up. It's something about the chemical process of jam making. Good luck and please come back and let me know how it turns out!

Jalancina apricot preserve is packed with delicious fruit, ideal spread on toast or a warm English muffin. Tree ripened apricots from Andalucía are the key, and our artisan producer carefully selects each batch to ensure the finest quality.

These delightful preserves are virtually homemade by a family in the village of Jalance in sunny Valencia. Juan Carlos García brings a perfectionist's eye for detail to preserves, choosing only the finest fruit and working tirelessly to perfect the recipe. The Jalancina preserves he makes are rated as the finest in all of Spain by to the most famous gourmet guide: "Lo mejor de la gastronomía española".

In 1922, Antonio Garcia Cerdan delivered his first peach harvest to UCASA (Union Conservera y Arrocera) in Jalence. This cooperative, located near Valencia, created a method to prepare exceptional preserves, and the Garcia family was there at the beginning.

In 1965, Carlos Garcia Rubio bought UCASA and the famous collection of Jalancina mermeladas was born. If you look at the jar you will see the little Valencian girl whom Carlos named "Jalancina" - a lady from Jalance, the town where the original kitchen continues to create these exquisite preserves.

This time I happened to choose almond flour as a substitute for flour when I made the healthy oatmeal bars as a gluten free option. And just as I expected, still delicious! Oats are an excellent source of soluble fiber. Soluble fiber is named so because it dissolves in water, forming a gel-like consistency, helping aid digestion. I love apricot preserves but use whatever fruit spread you have on hand or that you prefer. This easy oatmeal bars recipe is wonderful but I am an oatmeal fan for sure.
