Grand Theft Auto VI Leaked Gameplay: Download and Enjoy the Amazing GTA 6 Footage

Not sure how to feel about this footage yet, there's definitely some intriguing stuff in here though, there's some clips in here that look like GTA V and show assets and animations from it with a random character, but later on they show clips with much more refined animations in locations that are clearly NOT just Los Santos and actually look like some pre-alpha Vice City esque places.

GTAForums is one of the most popular online discussion boards to talk about all things Grand Theft Auto. On September 18, it became an unexpected home to leaked assets from the still-in-development Grand Theft Auto 6. The leaks quickly spread to other social media sites like Twitter and YouTube.

Later that same day, leaked videos on multiple platforms were removed at the request of Take-Two Interactive. As reported by VGC, takedown requests appeared to come from individuals with Rockstar email addresses, all but confirming that the leaks were legitimate.

One way game developers have begun to combat and educate what an in-development version of a game looks like is to share footage from their games early in the development cycle. Developers from Insomniac, Remedy, and more shared early footage of games like Control, Spider-Man, and more to illustrate what early game development looks like, even for AAA projects.

As it turns out, there have been some recent developments associated with GTA 6, wherein Rockstar Games has hinted at a big release in 2024. Additionally, the world of leaks and rumours has given us enough content to figure out the basic plotline, map and gameplay that GTA 6 is going to offer.

Previous leaks had also hinted at Rockstar Games covering South America in GTA 6. Originally, it was planned that players could travel between Vice City and several areas of South America. However, the undertaking ended up being too massive for the project and so the developers shelved that idea. That said, there could still be a few special missions which could be set in South American regions such as Brazil.

A couple of years ago, people had allegedly posted some leaked gameplay footage from GTA 6 on the GTA Forums website. The footage showed several familiar spots from Vice City in modern-day graphics. Fans also observed the familiar Malibu Club, Ocean View Hotel, Little Haiti and Vice Beach. The leaked footage also hinted at the presence of an underground railway system. Best of all, Rockstar Games actually confirmed the authenticity of the leaked footage.

Based on the leaked footage, it looks like the gameplay will be quite familiar, albeit with a couple of changes. The developers are trying out some new mechanics for character movement, one of which includes crawling while prone. The character was also seen carrying a body, which could be a new gameplay element to explore. The weapon wheel introduced in GTA 5 will be returning, and you can also expect to see realistic character animations, better vehicle handling, the ability to fly an aircraft and lots of water sports in GTA 6.

We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorised third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto. At this time, we do not anticipate any disruption to our live game services, nor any long-term effect on the development of our ongoing projects.

Rockstar Games recently experienced a network intrusion in which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from its systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto. Current Rockstar Games services are unaffected. We have already taken steps to isolate and contain this incident.

Multiple videos have been removed from YouTube at the request of Take-Two, confirming the legitimacy of the substantial leak. Take-Two has also reportedly ordered two of the largest online Grand Theft Auto communities to take down any links to the GTA 6 footage.

In a statement, the company said it "recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto."

That footage was posted on the GTAForums(Opens in a new window) by user teapotuberhacker, along with the message, "Its possible i could leak more data soon, GTA 5 and 6 source code and assets, GTA 6 testing build." Bloomberg later confirmed its authenticity, noting that it's "early and unfinished."

About damn time! It has been over 9 years since the last Grand Theft Auto video game came out and fans have righty run out of patience in the past few years. Ever since GTA Vice City launched in 2002, the GTA series has been a sensation. Additionally, GTA V went on to become one of the greatest games of our time. Therefore, GTA VI or GTA 6 is highly anticipated, and owing to that this February, Rockstar confirmed GTA 6. Since then there have been a ton of leaks but none as big as this one. So, hold tight as the following article consists of some major GTA 6 Leaks.

As it happens, a mind numbing amount of GTA 6 leaks were uploaded to Twitter and rest of the social media yesterday. This time there is no one who can deny that these leaks are fake as they are quite legit and confirm a lot of the leaks we brought to you earlier. While most of these leaks have been removed from social media, however, we did save a copy of the ones which were worth it. Somewhere around 80-90 clips of GTA 6 have been leaked and following are the longest and the best of them all. So, have a look and enjoy!

Anyways, these are all the major clips that we were able to save and they do a pretty good work in providing a basic idea about the upcoming game. Obviously, a lot more work needs to be done in the game to reach closer to the finished project. However, these leaks do hint that the game is towards the final stages of development. What kind of impact these leaks will have upon the fans as well as Rockstar Games is yet to be seen. But I am pretty sure fans are going to enjoy them a lot till something official comes out.

Rockstar Games, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, today confirmed that an unauthorized third party had downloaded files and videos for its flagship game Grand Theft Auto 6 following the posting over the weekend of scores of video clips to an online forum.

"Rockstar Games recently experienced a network intrusion in which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from its systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto," the company stated in the filing. "Current Rockstar Games services are unaffected. We have already taken steps to isolate and contain this incident."

The hacker posted the videos to GTAForums early Sunday morning, stating, "Here are 90 footage/clips from GTA 6," and adding, "Its possible i could leak more data soon, GTA 5 and 6 source code and assets, GTA 6 testing build."

The attacker may not have had general access to Rockstar Games' systems, but only the communication channels used by developers. "These videos were downloaded from Slack," the poster wrote, clarifying that the source was "employee communications."

The extensive leaks coincide with earlier reports about GTA VI that featured clips of a female playable character. For example, Bloomberg claimed earlier this year that GTA VI (inspired by Bonnie and Clyde) would have two female characters.

There was an unprecedented GTA 6 leak on September 18, 2022, which saw dozens of videos and screenshots from an alleged in-development build of the game spread online. Are you wondering whether the GTA 6 leaks are real? Well, Rockstar has since issued a statement confirming the hack: "We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto."

In the 48 hours since the GTA 6 leak first appeared, the GTA Forums have worked to scrub all remnants of the illegally obtained screenshots and videos to avoid being "obliterated by Rockstar". The dedicated GTA 6 reddit has also taken all links, pictures, and videos of the leak offline, and has committed to staying online with one condition: "We will allow discussions related to the leak without attaching the leaks. We don't allow comments that has [sic] download links to the leak."

Since then, Rockstar and parent company Take-Two have spoken out about the leaks. In a recent earnings call, CEO of GTA publisher Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick said that the leak was "terribly unfortunate", before adding that "we take those sorts of incidents very seriously indeed".

The GTA 6 release date is yet to be confirmed by Rockstar Games. That hasn't stopped internet sleuths from making some educated guesses. Multiple sources have corroborated a rumor that GTA 6 will release in 2025, which was part of a larger info drop which suggested that Grand Theft Auto 6 would be set in a modern-day Vice City. It's always wise to approach this sort of speculation with caution, but with the new GTA 6 leaks appearing to confirm a modernized Vice City setting, perhaps a release sometime in 2025 is right on the money.

The GTA 6 location has long been speculated, but it looks like we are indeed heading back to Vice City. Rockstar has confirmed that the leaked GTA 6 gameplay footage is real, which means we have a better sense of the city and the setting. For starters, one screen shows an underground rail system with the words "Vice City Metro" printed on the side, while eagle eyed viewers may have even spotted familiar spots from GTA 3: Vice City like the Malibu Club, Ocean View Hotel, Little Haiti, and Vice Beach.
